Richard Walker was born on 1980 or 1981, is the executive chairman and chief executive officer of the privately held British Iceland of predominately frozen food retailers. He is the son of the company’s founder Malcolm Walker and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, prior to joining Iceland.
He spent a year as a shelf-stacker and cashier before becoming an Iceland store manager and then moving to head office, where he took up the role of Managing Director in 2018 and became Executive Chairman in 2023, with responsibility for Iceland’s people and property.
