John Chidsey joined November 2019 as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in Subway. He is currently leading the brand through a multi-year transformation journey to build a Better Subway, with a focus on transition from a development-focused to an experience-focused company.

Prior to joining Subway, he was the Chairman and CEO of Burger King. Before joining Burger King in March 2004, John served as Chairman and CEO for two corporate divisions of Cendant Corporation. He was the CFO of Pepsi-Cola Eastern Europe and the CFO of PepsiCo World Trading Co. Inc.
