Peter Gowers is the new chairman of the management board and group CEO of Europcar Mobility Group. He was appointed to our Board in January 2020. Gowers succeeds Caroline Parot who has decided to move on after more than a decade with the mobility and rental provision group.
He is an experienced travel and leisure executive, having held leadership roles in both public and private businesses in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Before joining EMobG, Peter was Chief Executive of Travelodge, the largest privately held hotel group with a portfolio of more than five hundred hotels, employing more than 10,000 colleagues.
